Now That’s What I Call BAD – Vol. 2
BAD Day Music + Arts Festival is back with a single-day event that takes over Wilmington’s Brooklyn Arts District (the BAD) for a full day and night of world-class music, immersive art, and vibrant culture.
The second annual edition of BAD Day will feature an even bigger main stage that will set the soundtrack with an eclectic mix of high energy tunes– headlined by The Revivalists and Grace Potter with support from some of the hottest artists on the road today.
BAD Day isn’t all about the music. Throughout the festival area, art will be celebrated around every corner: A village of arts & crafts vendors, live mural painting, large scale art, participatory art activations, and creative surprises abound.
Wellness is back and bigger than ever—featuring an expanded lineup of yoga, breathwork, and sound healing sessions from three expert practitioners. Join us at the Brooklyn Arts Center, included free with your ticket. Refuel between sessions with free samples from Tama Tea, keeping you hydrated and ready for the day ahead. Come move, breathe, and reset before the music takes over.
BAD Day Music & Arts Festival is 100% FREE for children 12 and under. We are all about creating a family friendly event, which is why we are building the BAD Kid Zone in the main stage festival area. If the kids get a little restless, bored, or simply need a break from the music or sun to do kid stuff, bring them over to the BAD Kid Zone. Here the whole gang can take a load off in the shade, play some games, or let their creativity fly with arts & crafts. We promise it will be open to BAD kids and good kids alike!

VIP ticketholders will enjoy expedited entry to the festival grounds, a VIP viewing area at the mainstage, dedicated bars and bathrooms, and more! The VIP ticket will not include entry to the evening celebration at the Brooklyn Arts Center, though there will be a VIP option for that TBA.

Indo Jax® Surf Charities is committed to empowering disadvantaged, medically fragile and special needs children by exposing them to the ocean environment and teaching them to surf. We believe that the ocean and learning to surf has profound healing properties and can build self esteem in children with special needs. Children who participate in our surf program inevitably move from a feeling of skepticism and reluctance around the ocean to empowerment and confidence, a sense of… “If I can surf, I can do anything!”
FREEDOM BRIDGE ANIMAL RESCUE
Freedom Bridge Animal Rescue is a volunteer-driven 501(c)3 dedicated to serving as a voice for underprivileged and abandoned animals in New Hanover County and surrounding areas, restoring them to physical and emotional health as they await loving homes. They provide a safe haven for neglected, abandoned, and abused animals, committed to their welfare and humane treatment beyond adoption.
PLAY IT FORWARD
Play It Forward Wilmington provides musical instruments to anyone with a passion to learn, from schoolkids and first-time musicians to recovery communities and senior care facilities. Since 2015, they've believed music is for everyone, spreading that joy each year through their annual holiday instrument drive.
YOGA VILLAGE
Yoga Village is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to making yoga and mindfulness accessible to all, bringing trauma-sensitive, no-cost classes directly into schools, hospitals, treatment centers, and shelters. Rooted in the belief that healing is possible when we show up for one another, they're building a community around wellbeing, growth, and empowerment.
